    While normally I would agree (and to his credit, I have yet to see him not with the cube) it took the dude who invented the cube a month to solve it from scratch. He probably won’t sleep. But he also won’t solve it in two weeks. I think the biggest misconception about rubik’s cubes is that people actually still solve them like this. They don’t. You have to learn the algorithms. But that’s why I said I’d give him $20 if he did it, cuz I would love to see Cody be the first person in like 20 years to solve the cube from scratch. Fun Fact: There are over 43 QUINTILLION possible permutations of the cube. They advertise it as having only billions, because they think the general public can’t comprehend a number as large as 43 quintillion.

    Last night I bet Cody $20 that he could not figure out how to solve a rubik’s cube by himself in two weeks without help from the internet or use of any known algorithms. Apparently last night he stayed up til 7 AM working on it and this is how I found him this morning.  Stay tuned. Will update.

    GPOYW I’ve been Rubik’s cube obsessed lately. Last night I literally couldn’t sleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about the algorithms, and this morning I broke the 2 minute barrier. YAY
